Together, Mary and Lynn have frequently served as the "Eating Wisely" columnists for Yoga Journal Magazine since 1999. Their book, "WHAT ARE YOU HUNGRY FOR?" was published by St. Martin's Press in January 2002 (available in paperback in January 2003). Throughout the country, they teach a workshop on the topic of "Women, Food and Spirituality."

Mary Taylor has been involved in the culinary profession for 30 years. For the past 14 years she has focused on applying classic cooking methods and techniques to a more modern, healthful style of eating. In so doing she has worked in the private medical sector teaching nutrition awareness and dietary counseling. Mary has also been extensively involved in marketing and recipe development within the natural foods industry. Her own past struggle with anorexia has given her insight into how to apply her love of food and a healthy lifestyle to her educational work in both counseling and nutrition.

Mary's training includes a degree in psychology, with additional training in Gestalt therapy. She also received the Grande Diplôme from L'Ecôle Des Trois Gourmandes in Paris, France (Julia Child and Simone Beck's cooking school).

Mary is the author of three cookbooks, NEW VEGETARIAN CLASSICS: SOUPS (The Crossing Press, 1994), NEW VEGETARIAN CLASSICS: ENTREES (The Crossing Press, 1995) and LUNCH CRUNCH: BEATING THE LUNCH BOX BLUES (The Yoga Workshop, 1997).

Mary currently lives in Boulder, Colorado, with her husband and son. She has been practicing Yoga and meditation for the past 17 years.

Lynn Ginsburg balances her career as a professional freelance writer with her equally passionate pursuit of health, fitness and peace of mind. Lynn has studied Hindu and Buddhist philosophy for the past 18 years, and finds the active expression of these philosophies in the practice of yoga and meditation. She is also an avid student of holistic nutrition and alternative health methodologies. Her interest in translating Sanskrit from original texts led her to complete a four_year non_degree program in Sanskrit from Naropa University.

Lynn incorporates both Hindu and Buddhist philosophical traditions into her writing on yoga, food, holistic nutrition and alternative health. Lynn's articles have appeared widely in national magazines and newspapers, including: Travel and Leisure, Walking, Los Angeles Times, New York Newsday, Inc. Magazine, Wired and Natural Foods Merchandiser.

She has also sold a script to ABC TV's "All My Children," and her plays have been produced and workshopped in New York City at a number of theaters.

Lynn lives in Boulder, CO with her husband and her sharpei, Chang Li.
